Tuition, Courses and Holidays
Tuition
At W.E.C. we provide tuition for all abilities ranging from beginners to advanced. We cater for riders from the age of four upwards.
Private lessons in Showjumping, Cross-Country and Dressage are available. Ken Alexander-Jones, experienced dressage rider and trainer, is based at the yard and is available for training sessions from Novice to Advanced.
We also proceed training for both the theory based 'Horse care' and practical 'Riding' elements of B.H.S. Stages 1, 2 and 3.
Courses
At W.E.C., we run 3 day Courses for both our Pony Club Centre members and non Pony Club Centre members. These courses take place in the school holidays and enable the members to work towards achieving their Pony Club badges in both Stable Management and Riding. The non-members are able to extend their riding repertoire and broaden their knowledge of horse care.
The courses are run in conjunction with the Pony Club Center Camps held at W.E.C., which are available for both junior and senior members. These camps are arranged and conducted in accordance with BHS Stage 1.
Tailored Stable Management courses for adults are available on request.

The mornings are occupied with flatwork, concentrating mainly on position and control, whereas the afternoon sessions involve activities such as mounted games, which allow the children to experience the real joys of riding.
Riding Holidays available. Private packages with or without accommodation.
